Research: Philosophy of science, philosophy of anthropology, philosophy of language, logic, and the philosophy of mathematics.

Selected Publications: Author of Woodcutters and Witchcraft: Rationality and Interpretive Change in the Social Sciences (SUNY, 2000); articles published in American Philosophical Quarterly, Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, Canadian Journal of Philosophy, and Studies in History and Philosophy of Science.

Currently investigating the ways in which moral and political values become part of scientific judgement.
